Elena sings The Balkan Girls performing for Romania for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.  Elena is half Romanian and half Macedonian. She comes from a family of priests and she believes strongly that the most important thing in the world is her family. Elena has a sister, Ana, journalist, and a brother, Costin, the footballer of “Sportul Studenţesc”. Her mother, Marioara Man George is a folk artist.
