Jade sings Its My Time performing for the UK entry on the Eurovision Song Contest Final in Moscow.  An excellent performance by Jade, supported by Andrew Lloyd Webber on Piano and a great achievement for the UK after years of appearing at the bottom end of the Eurovision tables.  Britain did pretty well compared to its usual performance, but the landslide winner was Norway.

This is the UK entry for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest as picked by the BBC 1 viewers.  Jade Ewen will be representing the UK and singing the song ‘It’s my Time’.  The music is written by Andrew Lloyd-Webber, lyrics by Diane Warren. 

Jade was born in London on 24 January, 1988, she is an English singer and actress. Ewen started her career with the role of Nala in a West End production of The Lion King.    In 2005 Ewen joined the R&B group Trinity Stone which achieved moderate success in the UK, Ireland, and Russia.   On 31 January, 2009 Ewen won the British national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and will represent the country at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow on 16 May.
