Synopsis: Mamma Mia! The Movie is based on some of the best songs of the successful Swedish pop group ABBA and has some new songs composed by one of the original members of the group, Benny Andersson. The film is an adaptation of the 1999 West-End musical of the same name, and has become the most successful Hollywood film musical of all time and highest grossing film of all time in the UK. The film’s title originates from the group’s 1975 chart-topper Mamma Mia.

Meryl Streep heads the cast of the film, playing the role of single mother Donna Sheridan. Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard play the three possible fathers to Donna’s daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried).

Yes, I strongly agree with Conrad D. Burrall.
I watched this movie twice and I’m swayed when a song is playing. This musical drama is very good; especially the role of Meryl Streep’s a very silly as a single mother.
ABBA is my favorite music groups, especially Mamma Mia and Fernando. Two of these songs have a beautiful rhythm that I can come to swing.
Two Thumbs up movie!

This movie is totally awesome. Honestly, when I saw the trailer, I was not really interested. However, my friend dragged me to see the movie and I really love it. All artists played their characters well. The song and the musical are done amazingly. It reminds me to ABBA era and all their song. I like this movie so much.
